Well for my up and coming trip to Bangkok, I am planning on doing it as a shopping holiday trip with zero sight seeing. Bangkok is known to be one of the best shopping heaven in South East Asia. Here are some of the must shop places that I have been told I should go:
1) Siam Square area including Siam Paragon, MBK, Discovery, World Trade Centre, etc. It is the same as KL’s Bukit Bintang, Singapore’s Orchard Road, Hong Kong’s TST, Shanghai’s Nanjing Road, etc.
2) Pratunam Wholesale Market - It is believed that this is the place where a lot of its trader will stock its goods from local factory. Most of them would buy those branded goods at a fraction of the retail price and sell it here in Pratunam. I have been told that the more you buy, the cheaper it will be.
3) Chatuchak Market - I don’t think I will be going to this supposedly Asia’s or possibly the world’s largest open air market.
Any other sites for shopping? Any tips on what to eat or shop for in Bangkok? I truly appreciate all tips and advices.

charoen krung and the chinatown never fails to mesmerize me, but it really depends, if u r not use to the crowds. there r numerous streeet off charoen krung with lotsa bargains too. the products and merchandizes differs frm siam’s for sure. suan lum too! i’d say my fav places to shop with no particular order :-

Dont forget to visit Patpong if u wanna do some shopping… I hear they offer the best quality girls and almost always at a discounted bar fine price. Please test the merchandise 1st before parting with ur cash to bring her back to ur hotel room ya? Test how? Just touch here and there and make sure no silicones la ahaks!
