It is rather interesting that Air Asia is doing it for the second time. They are offering free air tickets and the general public had to struggle with server crashing and frustration, all in all hoping to score some freebies. It is not really free as they will be charging you fuel surcharge and other taxes.

But if you were to think about it, it will still be an al cheapo affair. No way you can find other airlines agreeing to ferrying you to macau for RM200++. For most Malaysians, it is an opportunity of getting a holiday. Fact was, I was so hard up on those free air tickets, that some of you may remember how I managed to score quite a fair bit of free air tickets during their last promotion. So this time around, I have yet to get myself into the game. So if I suddenly wake up and feel that a holiday should be in check, I would get my fingers moving and try my luck.

Air Asia is rather smart about these sort of promotion. Not only it got all the whole blogosphere tongue wagging, Air Asia is constantly on people’s mind when they think about budget travelling. These sort of advertisement is not unlike mastercards priceless moments. Everyone talks about it. Fact is it is cheaper than other medium and more effective. My children both knows the colour and the name, even though they don’t know what an airline is.

Since Air Asia has been in the limelight for the start of this year, I would like to ask this question. How many of you out there in the blogosphere has not sat on an Air Asia plane?
